Antibiotics + earl grey tea

I am a poorly, sickly kitten, antibiotics (not my drug of choice) for 10 days now. At least I get to wash it down with my tipple of choice - earl grey tea with unsweetened soya milk. I am so rock 'n roll!

I've started participating in a graded exercise group run for people suffering with M.E/CFS. It's hard work, but fun, I do think it's a brilliant idea. We're all very positive about it.
We start with gentle stretching, then ease in to some movement getting the heart rate up a bit. We do 30 second intervals of light weights, then some loosening off, and ending with a short relaxation.
I have actually found its helping me spend less time sleeping in my coffin. I think it probably just makes you feel more upbeat.

I'm off to North Yorkshire in a few days for a whole week of total relaxation! Pure bliss, I just can't wait, I will miss my baby Grouch kitty though. His cuddles have healing powers, they really do.
Send good weather vibes people please, I want it to be sunny so I actually look like I've been away!

Naughty Kitty Whip is typing this on her phone whilst still languishing in her coffin, tsk tsk. Right, I'm getting up now, no really I am .................

Catatonic Kitten

Hello darklings,
I have been sleeping like the dead, needing about 12 hours asleep in my coffin most nights!

I recently went on a stress less workshop arranged by my fabulous yoga teacher. The course was using the principles of NLP, demonstrating how you can change thought processes to your advantage.

I also had some trigger point massage which has worked wonders, it's quite painful and left me a little bruised, but it's amazing how something like that can work!

My doctor (Doc Robbo) as I refer to him suggested getting a pedometer. He said by increasing my walking it may combat the tiredness. It's such hard work when your body is literally screaming at you to stop. Going for a walk is the last thing you want to do, but funnily enough it's quite satisfying filling in the amount of steps I do in a day in to my diary. They reckon a healthy person should do 10,000 per day! I do mine at a very slow pace, but Doc Robbo says it doesn't matter about the speed, it's the amount of steps which count.

I do yoga nearly every day, and have done for many years, but have no stamina for walking. I'm very bendy and got diagnosed with hypermobile joints recently, which explains why I get a lot of pain.

I nearly got washed away with the floods last Thursday, along with my yoga teacher. We were driving to the class and we thought the world was ending, very frightening stuff this freak weather!
