Hello darklings,
I have been sleeping like the dead, needing about 12 hours asleep in my coffin most nights!
I recently went on a stress less workshop arranged by my fabulous yoga teacher. The course was using the principles of NLP, demonstrating how you can change thought processes to your advantage.
I also had some trigger point massage which has worked wonders, it's quite painful and left me a little bruised, but it's amazing how something like that can work!
My doctor (Doc Robbo) as I refer to him suggested getting a pedometer. He said by increasing my walking it may combat the tiredness. It's such hard work when your body is literally screaming at you to stop. Going for a walk is the last thing you want to do, but funnily enough it's quite satisfying filling in the amount of steps I do in a day in to my diary. They reckon a healthy person should do 10,000 per day! I do mine at a very slow pace, but Doc Robbo says it doesn't matter about the speed, it's the amount of steps which count.
I do yoga nearly every day, and have done for many years, but have no stamina for walking. I'm very bendy and got diagnosed with hypermobile joints recently, which explains why I get a lot of pain.
I nearly got washed away with the floods last Thursday, along with my yoga teacher. We were driving to the class and we thought the world was ending, very frightening stuff this freak weather!
